I really enjoyed living here. It’s a great starter apartment and if I could be 22 again I’d choose homestead again in a heartbeat. But the mold problem there is really bad so if you do move in there, make sure you take care of your health. I thought I had athsma but it turns out it was just homestead LOL. Also maintenance is really nice and so is management. If you do laundry there, best time to do it is very early in the morning, otherwise you may miss your chance. Wish they would stop cutting down all the beautiful trees on the property
Great place to live! Beautiful, well maintained grounds, buildings covered in ivy and manicured lawns, and a great area. Close to downtown La Grange, the Metra station, and a grocery store within walking distance. The apartments are a little old, and some maintenance was required on a few items, but the maintenance was quick and effective, and once the initial issues were taken care of, everything works fine. I lived here total going on 30 years 15 years in one apartment then I moved to an updated apartment about 12 to 15 years ago , but my carpet is so bad and it needs to be replaced, I asked if I can move to an newly upgraded unit and they basically said no and to put all my furniture in storage then they can change the carpet, they said if I move it would be more a month, I have no problem with that, but it is ok I guess they want the new apartment for the people that stay a couple years not 30 years
