I was very happy with HomeSpec! First, I called 5 different companies when we had a constant stream of water coming into our basement through a concrete wall that we couldn't get to stop, no matter what we did to it. Every other company couldn't come out for 4-8 weeks, even for an inspection and quote. We were literally emptying gallons of water every couple hours and it was exhausting! HomeSpec was able to come out in just a few days for an inspection and quote. The quote was reasonable and they explained everything they wo... read more
Elon was very knowledgeable about the job with videos. As I told ****, let me try getting a second opinion, I may have to get a little more finance with the complete offering Elon quoted which was responsible. I will call you back. Thank you Elon! you were great!
Job was not finished. I paid with check while they were completing the job. After I handed over the check they were packing up and leaving. I asked about a large gap and all the other gaps that weren't sealed. Sealing the gaps, he said wasn't in the order. Why would I pay over $3,000 for an unfinished job. I was told by *********************** that all the pads lifted would be cleaned and sealed. They are not clean or sealed. The workers did mention I should use my power washer and clean the cement and go to Lowes and buy se... read more
I had three contractors come out to look at my gutters. None of them followed up with a proposal. I had HomeSpec out to look at my crawlspace and they are going to install seamless and guarded gutters for me. Huge relief to have an experienced local company help me with all water, concrete, and foundation issues. The work will be done in a month or so and I will update my review with pictures.
Had homespec out and they did a great job. Kept my personal focus in mind. Addressed all of my concerns. Would highly recommend this company. Cared about what I wanted and how it looked. Sales Manager ***** was great. Salesman *** was great and the install crew was incredible.
I hired this company to encapsulate my crawlspace. Because my crawl is very low and difficult to navigate, the first team that came out didn't feel comfortable doing the work. The company sent out another team, John, Shawn and T. These guys were phenomenal! They did all the work we agreed on and took about 5 days. I can't say enough good things about them especially working in such a "cramped" space!!!! I had more questions after work was done and Chris B who originally came out for the consultation always had an answer for ... read more

I called HomeSpec for an estimate to repair a leak in my basement. A representative was sent and he damaged my paneling and drop ceiling. I have called the company numerous times and they have sent two repair persons, but the damage has not been repaired. The damage repair will be $4,000.00 - $6,000.00. I would not recommend this company to anyone. John C.
I received a quote from Homespec for a price of $3067 and had signed the work order agreement and paid the 20% deposit. I had included this work in the sales agreement for the sale of my house. I got a call the next day from Homespec saying that the work couldn't be done for the price that was agreed and paid for, and additional work was needed which cost over $8000 so I had to roll back the deal.
Business response:
Jason, we understand your frustration, but due to ethical reasons management decided to decline this project and refund your deposit. When we discovered that the work being requested by you was to satisfy a contingency on the sale of your house, we did not feel it was ethical to do only a partial structural repair. We provided you a full proposal in 2019 for what was really needed to fix the wall of your basement. The proposal you requested from us this year was one-third of the work. The new buyer may be purchasing the ho... read more
