This company has done bad business since the early 2000s...Still in legalities because of them. Do yourself a favor, and listen to all the other reviews... Bad business... very bad. Steer clear of this mess.
This company misrepresents who they serve. They came to my residence and said they were Vivint and that they were monitored by another company. They sent incorrect equipment and promised that when the correct equipment came they would then refund my money for the 6 months after installation which I had no service. They then refused the refund and stated that the representative I worked with had been fired and that's when I found out that they were homesafe and I was on the hook for 5 years. I have had Homesafe Security for 5 years of service. They talked me into getting the warranty saying i can cancel anytime. When i tried to cancel they said i couldn't. Had to keep it for 5 yrs. Back in March a man called me saying if i didn't renew the contract i would be canceled. when I tried my service i receive no response from them or the police. I get a call last nigh saying i owe $122.19 and had to write a letter of cancellation and i have to give 60 days notice. Just got off the phone wanting to talk to manager and w... read more
STEER CLEAR! As a first time homebuyer, I selected this company in 2011. Some of the contractual terms were not explained in detail. This company is after money and money only. They give no concern to your safety.
Do not under any circumstances work with this company for home security. They have incredibly long terms and automatic renewals (without notice) that will suck money from you longer than needed. Who cares if the system alerts you to thieves in your home you have already let the real thieves in by using this company. Shameful practices.
