Buyer beware! Do not buy from Albuquerque Homes Direct. We have had hell with our house. They will not return calls or emails and our 1 year warranty with them was a joke. They sent their contractors out twice to repair cracks in our walls and they did a sloppy job. Been in it 3 years and have had to replace the water heater ($1200.00), have had to hire a contractor to repair the cracks in the walls from settling ($3800.00) and today the oven will not come on. My parents have been dealing with these people and I must say, what a joke. I am blown away by how unprofessional these people are. MULTIPLE delays due to personal matters of our salesperson. They don't have anyone helping while they are out of their office so we get no responses for days or weeks. I haven’t moved into my home yet, but so far, Homes Direct and my salesperson, Scott, have been great. I found the floor plan that worked best for me and was able to modify it to get everything I wanted (moving doors, adding French doors to the patio, even turning a large closet into a half-bath). Scott has been great with getting back to me, running interference with contractors and lenders, and keeping me informed throughout the process.
