If you see a homes by Avi development in your neighbourhood I urge you to not purchase/rent there and definitely DO NOT purchase one of their homes. I have never seen a company hire such disrespectful, sloppy, unprofessional, rude, entitled sub contractors. They will leave your street/alley caked in inches of mud and never send a sweeper to clean, you will get numerous nails in your tires from lazy subs that won’t clean up after themselves. The sales team at Orchards were great, we had the best buying experience ever. But it all went wrong when we took possession, we had to pretty much fight to get our driveway done, and then watch as other builder complete landscaping and to see Avi do their showhome landscaping when our yard looked like a forrest. I would not recommend Avi, good build but poor after sales service.
They build good enough. Nothing special. Shoddy craftsmanship. The default fixtures are subpar. Within 6 months you’ll be redoing light fixtures and faucets, as well as paint. I have long since rebuilt every closet in my home. The plastic wire crap held up mostly with wall anchors they put in is useless.
We have been in our new house in Elan in Beaumont Since Feb.1/25 and we are very happy! Our journey has been fantastic from the beginning starting Ashley.R. She did a wonderful job helping pick our home and lot and even though we had a couple attempts purchasing the perfect house she was very patient. We never felt any bad vibes are pressure to buy a house. Our journey led us next to meet Katie at the design center and she was wonderful as well.
