When I got settled in Sequim 2 years ago, I knew that I wanted an independent insurance agent to find me the best rates for my home and auto. The Homer Smith agency has a sign out front of their office on Washington that drew me in. Homer's son, Ryan, worked until he found me rates that my budget could live with. Ryan was helpful and knowledgeable, he also gave us some tips about an application for a government agency, save us a lot of time. Very friendly service.
We walked in without an appointment. We had received 6 bills in 2 weeks from our previous insurance company and were totally confused. Kalo looked over all of the document we received. Explained everything and got us into a better policy with another company. We left there so relived.
Not great at answering the phone. Kept old homeowners policy unforced overlapping new one thru inattentiveness. Friendly enough when you go there but not on top of important stuff.
