Highly recommended. First home purchase and HomePoint was referred for the home inspection. The inspection was needed quickly and they were able to schedule something the next day for me. During the actual inspection, the inspector informed me about each and every issue, not just "this isn't good" or "this may be a problem". I’m updating my review. I initially gave them a favorable review. The inspector missed several things wrong with this house and is costing me a lot of money. First off he certified home as termite free. The house had termites. The exterminator said they have been there for 3 years and did a lot of damage. He missed several leaks in the house. I have mold and water damage. The central air is messed up and the upstairs’ bedroom is hot in summer cold in winter. I did mention my concerns during the inspection and he said the air... read more

I'm a first time home buyer and hired Joe Bock for the inspection at the suggestion of my realtor, and I was beyond impressed. Joe was an incredibly helpful, kind, thorough, informative, and detailed. He checked every outlet in the house for function. I asked questions throughout and he was always really responsive, even answering my naive questions. He had suggestions on whether to hire specialist contractors or handy person, etc. I couldn't recommend him enough for your inspection.
