Homepoint is a horrible company as a consumer and as an employee! The CEO promised repeatedly during COVID that there would never be downsizing/mass-firings in company-wide meetings and it was implied that looking for another job was not necessary. So many people lost their jobs and had nowhere to go due to this poor leadership and outright lying. The executives all kept their expensive homes while their employees lost theirs. first off, if i could give a negative star i would! this is the worst customer service i have ever dealt with in my life! they work from home and has no ability to do anything so why even have them. they processed 2 payments in one month because they had a glitch in their payment option. i have been chasing them for over a week to get my one payment back. they keep asking for me to send them bank info to confirm its been taken out of my account. i have provided that to them on day one of this issue( my account shows I'm 2 mo... read more
I have had nothing but problems from this company
I have had a baffling experience with this company. My mortgage was sold to Homepoint; three months later it was sold to ServiceMac (which apparently is related to HomePoint,) and then it was sold back to Homepoint. I have been trying to re-cast my mortgage for 6 months and have not had any luck yet getting through their system after submitting paperwork three times.
