Air Duct cleaning with Dryer vent cleaning We took our own vent covers off due to be painted over which was understandable but then we had to put them back on when they were done. Then they did not clean the dryer vent which was listed on ad for free with purchase of manual or rotary brush. I purchased rotary, but because the receptionist did not put it on the order, I would have to pay for it if they come out and do it. Would not recommend! On May 10th, 2022 ***** came to our house to look at our AC. He replaced the dual capacitor and charged 3 lbs of freon. He said there was a slight leak but that it should last through the end of the year. Before leaving he went down to look at the furnace and stated to my wife that he could hear a leak but he charged the freon anyways. It costed us $1027.50 and not even two days later when turning on the unit my wife hears a hissing noise outside on the deck which was coming from the unit. Had used their service for dryer vents cleaning along with air duct, furnace and AC cleaning on a property that I rented out to tenants. Was informed about 2% charge for credit card and agreed to pay via check which they wanted right away because it was COD service. I was not told about it and asked if I can get an invoice for their service so that I can mail them a check. So we had someone from HomePlace Furnace come to our house over a month ago when our furnace went out after a brief cold spell and some rain, the technician checked the furnace and was able to diagnose water coming in from an air vent that was not properly sealed, he noticed where the leak was coming into the PVC pipe and used a bead of silicone to correct this issue then he came to the conclusion that it was a bad ignitor switch which was noticeably corroded and needed to be replaced, nearly a $30 part, he billed us for an ... read more
