This was a great stop during our visit to Land Between the Lakes! It was really neat to see the farm animals up close, and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. My kids especially loved helping "put the animals to bed"—such a fun and memorable experience!
So fun and educational! All of us had a great time: parents, little kids and dog! The historical experts are friendly and eager to share their wealth of knowledge. They were great with our kids! Thank you, we'll be back!
My wife was raised in tobacco Fields with her family in Kentucky you can learn a lot from these people about that era. How it was so easy for families to grow tobacco and sell it by the pound after they dried it themselves until the government took over and paid Mexicans to come in and harvest the crop only paid so much per acre. Excellent self guided tour. The staff was very welcoming and gave us tons of great info. We really enjoyed our time here!
My wife and I went here in November, we really enjoyed it and plan on coming back during spring/summer season. Really nice to have a spot like this to step back in time.
