Description of complaint: Home Owners of America was a good solution until its was not! My insurance was terminated because HOAIC did not send the declaration page to my current mortgage servicer. In October 22', my loan was sent to another company and per usual they requested proof of insurance. I recieved a letter to the effect of "send proof of insurance" in November and I call my mortgage company and they said there was nothing to do at the moment because my info was not in their system yet. Non-Renewal after 1 year because of premium increase! For what?!! This is stealing people's money. I want my money back for a new home with no disaster. Taxes and insurance are the reason why people are struggling. Take your money and then drop you.
This company did nothing but take our money. They make easy money. Refuse to renew us after a year. Took our money and nothing happened to our home. Insurance is a rip off. We are paying for other people's homes that are in disaster. I hate they way this insurance stuff is set up.
