Went to Homemakers on 4/1/2024 to purchase new furniture, when it was delivered we found out the living room furniture was to big, and the delivery driver dropped and broke the bedroom set. So we loaded everything up and returned it. We had RMAs given to us as this was purchased on our NFM card we had RMAs credits of $6,260.47 ($827.51 was cash & never refunded) we only had time to pick out a new bedset as the one we had purchased was now back ordered. I had wrote a review at that time, and after dealing with service dept, and to service dept managers one marina the others name don't remember but she sitting in the back right corner in the dept. And until they change policy of dealing with customers, and the corperate office careing how customers are treated the company will continue to lose customers. Bought cal king adjustable frames and mattresses 1year ago @ the end of 2022 the mattress ended up with 2" belly dealing with srevice dept at homemakers in urbandale ia i was hung up on by manager marnia,yelled at by differant service manager was told i could not get money back, spent 2 hrs dealing with and being treated like a free loader ended up paying more to replace the old mattress plus they were trying to charge me to pick up junk mattress and drop off new one. After waiting three months to receive my purchase (everything is back ordered), I finally got the call to set up for delivery. Because I work and cannot take a full day off, I have to wait another month to receive my sofa. Conveniently, the day that i will be home is not acceptable for them.. Frustrating.. I will never pay for delivery again.. Probably will not shop there again.

Bought Beautyrest/Simmons memory foam mattress last year. Seemed ok in store, but the one delivered was hard as a rock. Salesman told us that would change. Never did. We wake up sore/achy every morning. Very expensive mistake.
