Marvin was my mother's Nurse Practitioner (house calls) for 3 years until she transitioned into a personal care home. Marvin was always very responsive to questions. Was able to see my mom quickly when needed and was pro-active in all her health care needs. His bedside manner was always calm.and caring, even with a less than co-operative patient. Marvin Castro has been a real blessing for me. He's patient, caring and a very good listener. It can be difficult navigating the health system if you dont have the proper care. With Marvin's help I am able to get back to running my business , plan my future while dealing with various issues and procedures.
I've been in Winnipeg for just over two years and I can finally say that I think I've finally found "my doctor". Our healthcare can feel a little backwards at times, and even when I thought I found a great doctor; she moved on without any notice. That left me scrambling to find a "new" family doctor as quickly as possible and unfortunately I found someone that perhaps wasn't the best fit for me.
