I called Homegrown Moving and Storage after I saw their truck in the parking lot of the assisted living facility my wife was staying before and after major surgery. It was the week before September 30 and I was stunned they’d be able to move us on such short notice AT THE END OF YHE MONTH! They SHOWED UP ON TIME, which was another plus, and the move went seamlessly. Homegrown Moving and Storage was great. Couldn't be happier with how efficient and reliable the were. Pedro and Miguel were phenomenal. Hustling from the minute they arrived, they were professional, respectful and courteous. All of our items arrived in perfect condition. They made sure all our fragile items didn't get damaged. I highly recommend them for any moving job!
This is the company to use. Simple as that. Myself and my girlfriend have used them 3x combined and no matter what, they'll make it right. Send 2 movers when you made it clear they needed 3? They'll work with you so you're not overcharged. Accidentally break something nostalgic due to a genuine misunderstanding? They'll fix it or pay you for the fix cost. These guys are amazing. DO NOT use this company!!! This was the worst and most expensive move I have ever had. I had a separate donation pile off to the side on the porch and the movers accidentally packed and then put items in the donation pile without my permission. The items lost totaled about $1500 and they offered me a measly $150. I even have a voicemail from the mover who admitted packing and then getting confused and putting items in the donation pile. Wow. I am totally disgusted. Worst move ever.
The crew of Jake, Eli, James and Alejandro appeared at my parents' house on schedule at 845am. They carefully disassembled and wrapped all the furniture my parents were taking to their new senior living apartment. Jake and Eli expertly packed the kitchen, while James and Alejandro emptied closets as directed. They loaded everything on the truck, unloaded, reassembled and arranged furniture in the new place, all before lunch.
