I had a very unusual and unpleasant experience at the HomeGoods store in Melville, NY. I have been shopping at this location for many years and have never encountered anything like this before. I went to return two pillowcases without a receipt. I understand that returns without a receipt may require additional verification and store credit, and I have successfully completed this type of return many times before as I shop there a lot.
