First claim i had i was very happy , After that they were a total fail . We had a dishwasher that didn’t work and were told they would be able to fix it ,after a few failed attempts with they came to the conclusion it had to be mice ( with no new information) the tech that came out told us we needed a new dishwasher so I’m assuming that’s what scared them away .Tried calling them multiple times and they always told me they would call me back ,but after a few months have went by I’m now assuming they’ll never call . I've been with them since I bought my home in 2022. Up until now they've been great...now that they have an "answering service" to ignore their customers, I guess they feel it's appropriate to never call you back to even start a claim. But I bet they'll call to collect that annual 640 dollars. Nothing like getting the run around while all your food spoils in your refrigerator. Update 11/13 I appreciate you reaching out. I personally wanted to comment on this warranty company because they are in my opinion doing such a great job. We all know that calling a warranty call deals with waiting on the phone for sometimes almost 40 minutes, sometimes to get hung up on and sometimes to never get anyone. In working with this company not only do they answer the phone the ownership the management take is amazing! Rob, Jenn, and Lilly are fabulous to work with and we really appreciate that. Update about HomeGard: I didn’t file the claim for the exact part of the unit that had an issue, so there’s nothing that can be done. There’s far more to this story, full details may be reviewed through the BBB complaint. Use extreme caution with these guys and definitely, absolutely, watch out for their HVAC vendor. I have also reached out to both realtors for make them aware of the situation and hopefully mitigate future headaches for homebuyers.
