We have purchased four coal grate heating units from Homefires over the past 15 years. We use them all on a regular basis and have never had a problem with any of the units. In addition to being lovely and authentic to the style of British coal grates they are an excellent source of heat and nicely supplement our heating system during cold Connecticut winters. It was a pleasure working with this company. We contacted two other places that said that our fire could not be fixed. Home fires sent over a technician (Billy), who was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He walked us through how the fire works from beginning to end and fixed the unit with no issues. We will definitely only be working with Home Fires in the future!
