Within our float-down window, one team member sent us written rate options with no deadline and explicit language that waiting was equally valid. We were looking to purchase our first home and we had this company as our loan financial. We were all set to purchase the house, all the paperwork was in, paid for the appraisal to be done. A week before we sign the settlement agreement, we get a call that our finances wasn’t approved so we had to terminate the agreement. What upset me was the fact the we paid almost $700 for the appraisal to be done on the house and was not able to purchase the home. Wow horrible experience! Hard to get ahold of when you call. It’s rare anyone ever answers. Zero communication. It was not an easy going experience for me not one bit. But I did get my home after all the stress and headaches! So I am thankful!
