I've shopped here quite alot. If some of their prices are a bit higher, I've found that it's still cheaper for a small purchase than the cost of fuel to drive to a big box store 20 miles distance. However, I feel compelled to say that today I was insulted when making my purchase. It's not necessarily a HB problem alone but rather, it seems to be a culture-wide phenomenon. First visit and loved it! We stopped by after visiting the grizzly nursery. Surprisingly, quite a few of their plants were in much better shape. I think they even had more of a selection for indoor plants/non-cold hardy plants. I got a monstrous fern for under $14! Unreal. See pics. Customer service was top notch. Super friendly. They enforce face masks/coverings. Grizzly Nursery does not since it's mainly outdoors. Some employees and customers wear them. Not all, just FYI. Pretty great prices. The regular prices aren't too appealing, parallel to ACE, STRIPES, VALERO... just another convenience store, BUT, the HOMEBASE in Copperas Cove, Texas is One of the BEST stores I have EVER visited. EVERY employee is helpful, their clearance sale prices are 9 times out of 10 lower than what they bring the product in the store for, if there is any kind of error they Honor it and will take the loss EVERY TIME, they sale quality tools and products, and they ALL ALWAYS SMILE and wish you a good day. Frank, Diana and the entire from check out area are always professional and courteous. I prefer HomeBase over the drive to Lowes or Home Depot. The greatest part is the price matching products.
