Very sketchy area, not safe to work around with too many homeless people walking and wandering around. The Yogurt machine was not working one of the days I stayed there . Location is convenient if it is your choice to stay in that part of the town
Clean room. Difficult to check in. The night guy had an attitude and thought that since we were sent an electronic check in we didn’t need room keycards. Tried it since was close to the jazz club we wanted to go visit but we will not be back.
Hotel and rooms are nice - slowly being updated. TV service was updated just before we showed up (shout out to that Home2 Suites installer - he was friendly and fun!). Rooms need a bit of work like paint, trim, etc that are all showing their age. Please move the smoking area (that's right outside the elevator lobby in the garage) outside. I'm sorry but smokers do not need to be in an enclosed space disturbing everyone else's peace, especially the paying guests.
