The rooms are spacious, and the hotel does have some positives, including a nice gym and a generally functional layout for a longer stay. However, several details made the stay feel less comfortable than expected. The room floors needed a more thorough cleaning, and the dishes left in the dishwasher from the previous guests were dirty, which was disappointing from a housekeeping standpoint. Great hotel. Reasonably priced. Breakfast had several options from the Hilton waffles to breakfast sandwiches. The room was spotless and very large. Plenty of space for 4 people. All of the staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly. The hotel was close to shopping and restaurants.

Have stayed at this Home 2 a LOT over the last few years traveling for business. Actually getting a room ready by check in time is getting worse. Today I had to wait until 5PM on a Sunday! Front desk said Oh it will be ready by 3. Shows how much the employees care and how much Diamond means to Hilton = Nothing, its worthless. I'll be finding a new place to stay in Jacksonville for my future stays, will give Marriott a shot and see if they can do better. Good luck with this hotel, its hit and miss.
