The room was spacious and very quiet, the amenities were great. Staff was great. Awesome gym, great breakfast. Well lit outside. There was some issue with the window shades being out of the tracks and the floors in the room were not super clean. I saw a few millipedes. My biggest issue is the mattress, it was the worst hotel bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. Absolutely miserable, springy and uncomfortable in all the worst ways. Great location and a great hotel. I will say the décor was a little strange at this one, but the hotel has little control over that so not taking off stars. Everything was clear, well maintained, and worth the money spent. We had a chance to go to the pool and it was a lot of fun. It is outdoors so keep that in mind if you are picking a location for the pool itself. Overall we were just passing through the area on a road trip but it was worth the stay. I have had nothing but compliments to the staff and how friendly and accommodating they are to my requests. I have been here often, with extended stays while working in Pelahatchie at a new plant we just opened. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
