This is a great hotel for the price. There's a generous kitchen with a huge fridge. There's a pull-out couch in every single room and a desk to do some work. It had everything I needed. The staff was nice. The facilities were clean and it exceeded expectations for a mid-tier hotel .

I stayed at Home2 Suited Carmel back in January. I spoke with the manager, Kelley before I left. I had some concerns about the room. Some dishes were dirty, there were crumbs on the dinning chairs, but mostly the bathroom. The shower was disgusting. The door had heavy soap scum and the shower floor was so grimy it was gray! One of the shower doors was broken and off the tracks too. When we told her she didn't offer any apology or resolution. I upgraded to a suite and paid $50 more for it.
