I travel a lot, brought food back to the room....no silverware, no plates, no bowls and no soap etc. Then in the bathroom only 2 towels for 2 people....this is my favorite chain but this was not my favorite stay.
Disappointed, not comparable to the Home2Suites I am used to frequenting. Upon arrival found that all of the dishes and utensils were dirty and sitting in the dishwasher. There was also a half eaten pint of ice cream left in the freezer. There was no ice maker in the refrigerator inside our room, and the ice machine in the lobby was out of service. And for some insane reason the HVAC unit stat was programmed to stay in heat and cool mode, why on earth would you ever want a unit to run in heat mode in the summer time in Texas... read more
Clean, large rooms. Love the little kitchenette. Mattress was comfortable.
If you're traveling with a group of students for any event and the school is paying for your rooms, DO NOT TRY TO STAY HERE! I've been a teacher and a coach for over twenty years and have NEVER had the issues at checkin that we experienced today. We had to put our rooms on a PERSONAL credit card even with the credit card authorization form and tax exempt form that CLEARLY show we are here for a school event and were signed by our school administrator.
