It was truly outstanding place front desk girl was very helpful and polite.room was perfect Only thing was missing shower gel but it was not a big deal.
The room and amenities were okay, but the service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived at 4:30 pm, they said our room would be ready in half an hour. Forty minutes later the manager said the room still wasn't ready but blamed the cleaning staff. We went for dinner and finally at 6:30 they told us we could check in! At breakfast they ran out of plates and bowls so people had to wait to get their breakfast. Even the desk staff seemed dour and unhappy to be at this hotel. Staying at Home2 Atascadero felt a touch of home, away from home. My mom and I stayed for a night at a lovely room equipped with 2 queen beds, complete with a full size fridge, dishwasher, kitchenette, living area and a decently sized bathroom. We were truly impressed with the cleanliness, along with a complete set of dishes, cups and mugs to use during our stay.
