Easy access to US-54 and only five miles from New Mexico Museum of Space History, hiking trails, New Mexico State University NMSU Alamogordo. Holloman Air Force Base is 15 minutes away and Cloudcroft ski slopes are 20 miles from our hotel.

Amazing and wonderful staff
This place is very very nice I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff very friendly the main floor really clean. They have a small gym, laundry room, acess to computers with internet, pool, seating area on the main floor, bowls with fruit in case you get hungry for a snack and pet treats for your dog or cat. The room my son was in had a small kitchenette with a dish washer, apt size fridge. Seating and sleeping area. Very nice.
Expedia called us the night before our stay to inform us that the hotel, Home2Suites had cancelled our reservation because they could not fulfill the room booking. Called the hotel to confirm and the representative seemed to think it would be no big deal because Expedia would ensure that we got a room at another hotel. Very disappointed, as we had selected this hotel for a reason—it was the only familiar hotel chain in Alamogordo with an open outdoor hotel for our July stay.
