I dreaded having more repairs done to my house because of how much bad luck I've had with contractors in the past doing shoddy or incomplete work, not showing up, needing to be micromanaged, etc. Our house was a fixer-upper from the start that we've put a lot of work into over the years, and pretty much every problem you could ever have with a contractor we've had in this house. Lowe’s contracted with this terrible company for my parents when they wanted to remodel their kitchen. The job was supposed to be finished around Thanksgiving but it is now early February and the kitchen is still not complete. The owner has been rude to my parents and has attempted to milk extra money out of them despite everything already being laid out in the contract.
