HOME DEPOT/ EUCLID Hi everyone, hope this reaches the ears of someone that actually works @ corporate Home Depot. The service at this store is simply ridiculous. I just got off the phone w/ an ASSociate who sounded like an eighth grader. I asked about wood pellets & she wanted to transfer me to electrical. I thought she misunderstood me so I said (KINDLY) "no, no, wood PELLETS." Her response was "I HEARD you, GEEZ!" I shop here daily, spend over $25,000 yearly and 1 out of 10 times I am greeted with kindness/ good service. M... read more
Response to Robert Blame it on the individual people, not the color of their skin which has nothing to do with it. I'm a black person myself, and deal with the same thing you deal with; however, some do have very good customer service. Let's get past the issue of color and race, IT'S THE INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE. I have problems in other Home Depot Stores where there are mostly white employees. Sounds like you have a color issue. Stop going their and spending your money if you're not satisfied.
Home Depot is a great place. I have been going to the Euclid Home Depot since it has been built. I think its one of the better stores in terms of service, products and is well maintained appearance wise. Thanks for all you do. I felt compelled just as Missy H in writing a response to Roberto. It appears that "Roberto" may be Hispanic and also from a minority group. As an Hispanic myself I'm absolutely appauled by his comments.
