DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR CONTRACTORS. Contacted Home Depot for a large bathroom remodeling project. They only use S.I.R. Home Improvements as their contractor. The customer service is horrible. It's been excuses and poor if any communication. Do your research on the companies and contact them yourself so you don't get stuck canceling your contractor 2 days before your start date because no one knows what's going on including the owner.
Like Home Depot for parts and hardware, but I would avoid then for home repairs, upgrades, and installation. We went through them for a granite countertop and stone backsplash and I would not call it a positive experience.
We have remodeled our entire kitchen, complete gut job. We decided to go with home Depot, the man that helps us was very friendly and helpful, so I thought. We purchased about $3000+ on cabinets and around $2000+ on a granite counter tops. When we finally received our cabinets one was dropped in shipping (not home Depot ' fault) kraftmaid right away fixed our issues.
