Customer service does not exist at Home Point Financial Corporation. Try calling them. Ridiculous wait times. They take no ownership for problems related to their actions and offer no recommendations or support for resolution of problems. I've held a mortgage on various homes since 1984. This has to be the worst experience I've had with a mortgage company in that time. If customer service is important to you, go elsewhere.
Home Point bought my loan and now refuses to answer the phone. They also failed to pay my property insurance even though there was plenty of money in the escrow and I was up to date on my payments.
