Thank goodness Ace Hardware referred me to Home Plumbing Supply. Ron had the right part and special install tool on the shelf. He verbally gave me the play by play installation instructions and I was all cleaned up and done in less than an hour. Glad to find this company and will use them again. 😊

Everyone at Home Depot, Ace and Meyer Plumbing said that the valves and stems I needed for my bath/shower fixture were long discontinued and I should prepare myself to pay the plumber what he asks to get a completely new set-up from the water supply out. We're talking $500-$1000 plus the cost of repairing the tile or the wall we'd have to open up. I wouldn't take no for an answer.
