Lower asphalt roof over patio and garage leaked in the 9th year. Leak was not into the house but behind gutter and into fascia. The Plywood sheathing under the ice shield had rotted probably because water was getting under the porch roof. The Lower roof was replaced by another company. Our new roofers said that the placement of the drip edge was at fault. HIC did not offer to cover it under labor warranty without charge before 10 years was up.The upper roof is still working well so I am giving them 3 stars. I would not reco... read more
RecommendedI had 5 windows installed by a great crew today. They did an outstanding job and the windows look amazing. They left no trace they were ever here , other than my new windows. I look forward to using Home Improvement Center again in the near future.
Sam Calabrese was very communicative and made the whole process easy from beginning to end. The foreman, Dave, spent a good deal of time explaining the complicated work to me and surrounding neighbors and he and his team were remarkably professional. I highly recommend this company.

I had siding and windows installed. Lifetime warranty. So I have a problem with my window I called and I was told I no longer have a warranty because they do not contract with the manufacturer of the windows. I bought my windows from hic not the manufacturer and feel they should honor my warranty.
They installed our new roof and did a beautiful job! They showed up exactly when they said they would with a crew of over 20 to complete our roof in one day! They cleaned up the entire yard afterwards and left it as it was when they arrived. Dana was great to work with and very knowledgeable and dependable. He followed up during the entire job and even after completion! If you want a dependable and honest company this is it!
