We purchased our Summt fireplace insert from Home and Hearth over 4 years ago. This insert was rated No.1 by Consumer reports. We paid almost $ 5,000 for the insert and installation. It never worked right. We had H & H service which cost us $ 170.00 for a technician to tell us ¿you have bad wood¿. After a few years we just came to the conclusion we bought a bad stove. If you have a problem after the sale, you will be met with a mildly aggressive and not very nice attitude. When you call you'll hear a lot of "He's with a customer right now" or "I'm sorry I don't know anything about that, you'll have to speak to so-and-so , but he's not here right now." They will pass you from pillar to post, and any problem you are having is probably your fault anyway. Go anywhere else!
