Absolutely the worst experience ever!!! My pellet stove was installed poorly and the problem was never fixed. It has been over a year!! The reviews here are correct. Once you make a purchase it is close to impossible to resolve any issue. The problem with this place is the owner John who unfortunately runs the service department. He simply doesn't care or argues with you trying to prove you wrong.
The worst customer service imaginable. On e they have your money, you will never get any issues resolved. They are arrogant and simply don't care. We spent well over $10,000 for a gas fireplace and the mantle is cracking and turning yellow. Over 5 months have gone by with no resolution. I was told to go buy a can of paint. Very rude.
man with white hair came to measure and was extremely rude. second guessing my purchase. called to complain and spoke with john. found out the man who came to my house was the OWNER! i am in complete shock on how he treats customers. all he wants is $$$$$.
Bought a merrimack wood insert from here during the sale. installation was backed up a few weeks but it runs great and I'm so happy to save money on my oil bill. well worth the wait. looks great and heats the whole house. would highly recommend this place

Bought my pellet stove from H & H and the sales people were very nice and helpful. Thats where the customer service ENDS. My brother was there last week for pellets for us and was charged $7 a bag. CASH ONLY ...I called there at 9am and was told people were outside waiting for the store to open... I was there by 9:30am. Stayed until the doors opened at 10am. Why would you not open sooner if you have 15 people outside looking to purchase pellets only and you knew that at 9am? We were told that today they were $7.50 a bag. 2 w... read more
Got our gas fireplace here less than a year ago. Have had problems since and when I called I got the usual blah, blah, blah about helping a customer and will get back to you. Had to drive 1/2 hour to the store to get service- only to find out I have to wait three weeks for someone to come look at it. I now have a useless fireplace during the coldest time of the year and the people here have a big case of bad attitude too.
