I chose Home Grown Insulation because they were local, had competitive pricing, and very responsive. I needed to have my attic insulation brought up to code. David came out very quickly and assessed the attic which is relatively small (he did not try to sell me on unnecessary extras, such as an attic fan). Nardy, who did the insulation, was very professional and friendly. He arrived on time and cleaned up nicely afterward. I would absolutely recommend their insulation services. Home Grown Insulation handled the spray foam and vapor barrier for my crawl space. They communicated with me regarding when they would be coming, actually came when they said they would, and did an excellent job.
