I was originally excited to build with HomeGroup, but unfortunately the experience has left me completely dissatisfied. They tried to charge me $1,200 to re-peg my lot despite all of the existing pegs still being there. I also have an air conditioning system that the manufacturer has advised was installed incorrectly, which I’m now having to deal with. My experience with Home Group has been so stressful and costly that I feel obligated to warn others. I get that things sometimes go wrong in construction, but the difference between a good builder and a bad one is how the mistakes are handled.
