This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with in any of my years as a homeowner ( which is aprox 35 ) with multiple homes No return phone calls or emails Chinney caps blew off multiple times when asked for solutions I got the run around Bottom line go elsewhere when you need anything to do with chimney solutions
This is by far one of the worst companies with which I've ever worked. It all started when I called about coming into the showroom. I was told that this was not allowed without an appointment and that a design consultant would call me back to schedule. In the meantime, I was told that the team would email me some recos on fireplaces. Four days later, still no email and certainly no call. wish I would've saw these comments before I called them. Sent someone out to repair my gas fireplace. Was on the phone the whole time and got absolutely nothing accomplished, not even a diagnosis. Then they charged my card $169 for the visit. Horrible service!

Home Crafts installed our fireplaces for our new construction. Our main family room gas fireplace exhaust has melted the outside of hardy plank and azak while producing a fierce burning smell. Multiple calls to home craft, with one attempt at fixing it has failed. Multiple calls again to get a resolution has failed to date. Our formal living fireplace was installed with craked and broken brick and excuse after excuse made as to why they can not fix it. Still waiting on resolutions. They installed a very nice fireplace at our home and it works just fine. Unfortunately it wasn't installed to NYS code and I can't get a certificate of occupancy for my house. I've contacted Home Crafts repeatedly about the code violations notice that the Town of Oyster Bay have given us and we get no response from Home Crafts Inc and have to hire another installer to fix the installation.
Terrible customer service. Had to call several times to get someone here to measure. Someone came to measure, I stopped in to pay and finalize order. Salesman was busy, said he would call me first thing in the morning. He never called...that was 3 weeks ago. Glad I didnt order from them, if I cant get them them to take my order, what would happen if there was a problem I needed resolved.
