We had a bad experience. When my cat ran away from her, to the hall, she said everyone wait for him to come back. Then she got up, left the room, cornered my cat in the hall. He was screaming. I could hear banging against the walls. We ran to the hall. She was on the floor with my cat. Only then did she get up and let him go. He ran from her. Back to the living room. Walsh returned. We had Dr. Amie from Home Comfort Vet come so we could say a gentle goodbye to our senior dog, Lucy, after her health took a rapid turn. During the process, Amie was reassuring, calming and compassionate. We were not at all rushed and moved through each step as we were ready. She knew exactly what to say and everything was explained to us (and our children, who were there to say goodbye as well). We felt comforted during a very difficult moment for our family. I can’t thank home comfort vet enough. My childhood cat started to get very sick and we were so afraid of making her uncomfortable in a car or vet clinic. I found home comfort and decided to have them come put our sweet girl to sleep at home where she was happy and comfy. Nicole was the vet who came and she was so incredibly sweet and gentle. Dr. Nicole Dooling was kind, compassionate, and gentle with our sweet girl. She made sure she was comfortable and at peace in her final moments, which meant so much to us. We’re truly grateful for the care and dignity she provided.
We've unfortunately/fortunately used Home Comfort Vet twice before to say goodbye to our senior dogs and they do it with such heart, dignity, and respect for everyone involved. At a horrible time in our lives it's great to have such wonderful care providers available for our furry family members.
