I've been to this store three times and each time I have experienced terrible customer service. This is a shame because I would be willing to pay the higher prices offered by this store in return for feeling like I'm supporting a "mom and pop" hardware store offering convenient customer service. My experience is the opposite and i have no doubt it would be a nightmare if I had a problem with merchandise purchased from here.
I've tried to call there a few times from my droid and I keep getting a fax machine ....

Great old fashioned neighborhood hardware store and so much more. I get attentive and helpful assistance every time I pop in for paint or lawn bags or whatever my weekend project is. I've been in on weekdays when the builder crowd is there and on weekends when it's a bit quieter and I prefer to shop for my needs on the weekend.
Awesome hardware store – I had to pick up some fiberboard for a small project I'm working on and I was getting ready to drive 40 min from Ballard to the nearest Home Depot or Lowe's. Instead I remembered seeing this little place on Nickerson, so I went there to see if they had what I needed. The place was really awesome, they seem to have just about everything. Great selection & service. – Great selection of stuff that I need, when I need it. Of course, I went there to buy hardware, not to judge their political views. Freedom of speech and great hardware stores... What a country !
