Lisa We have seen Dr. Holzwarth with both children for about 10 years. I was one of those parents who thought you had to drive in town to see the biggest practices/dr's until my daughter had a seizure and we couldn't get "our" doctor on the phone or follow up with anyone who actually knew my child. I also hate that the office isn't opened until 9 but it is worth the tradeoff...nobody else is opened before 8:30 anyway. Medically fragile family LOVES this practice! I have a medically fragile child with a very rare syndrome. Dr H has been with me 100% of the way in finding the best treatment options for her and for seeing me quickly. Once I saw the other Doc who is there and she sent me to the emergency room w/ my daughter. I thought she was over reacting, but my child was in renal failure and went straight to the ICU! Dr H and her staff have saved my daughters life on more than 1 occasion. My son, who doesn't have any major issues sees them... read more
Very Smart...Awesome Staff Dr. Holzwarth has restored my faith in the Medical Community. Just as practices are treating patients as numbers herding you in and out of the doors, not with Dr. H. She is kind, open, welcoming and SMART. She has diagnosed my 3 kids with exacting science, explaining why and backing it up. We love the whole team. She really knows her stuff and isn't afraid to tell you some painful stuff if needed. We would recommend her to anyone that we like!
Wonderful, thorough and friendly doctor and staff Dr. holzwarth and her staff have been treating my 2 boys since they were born. I don't think there is a single pediatrician thatis more thorough in dagnosing and treating childhood illnesses. I never feel like they are rushing me out of the exam room. i remember when my boys were young, Dr. H. would let me nurse them in the exam room after shots, even if that took 30 minutes. I have recomeneded two of my closest friends who now take thier children to see Dr. Holzwarth.
Dr. Holzwarth This practice is very disappointing. The practice doesn't open until 9 and the doctors leave by 4. Dr. Holzwarth does not call you herself to address your concerns or questions with test results about your child. She has a nurse who does not have an understanding of the test results herself to call you. I have never been there even for the easiest of appointments for less than an hour as they always schedule way to many patients at once. Dr. Holzwarth We love Dr. Holzwarth, My children have been going to the office since birth and look forward to seeing the friendly staff. They remember every detail and make them feel special with every visit.
Great practice We just love Dr. Holzwarth. Our daughter has been going to see Dr. H and the staff from birth. The office has been newly remodeled and is really kid-friendly (including an awesome aquarium). There is a sick kid area, and a brand new, state-of-the-art vision testing machine. The staff is great, very kind and patient, and feels like family. Dr. H is outstanding. I love how they do developmental testing at nearly every well-visit.
