My daughter went there for them to do the operation again and after she went and they told her that they can do it again they text her and told her that they dont do that there so why didnt they tell my daughter that there she fell into depression you dont do that she only got the meal plan that to me wss giving my daughter false hope that wss professional at all
We have been working with Dr. Raftopoulos for approximately one year, in order to get my daughter‘s weight to a level that would allow Dr. Raftopoulos to perform major abdominal hernia surgery. This a a great program if your willing to follow instructions, and be consistent. Everyone is nice and caring too!!
I had sleeve surgery with Dr. Raftopoulos and had an amazing experience. Him and his whole team are extremely supportive and I can't say enough good things about the program. My surgery experience at HMC was nothing short of exceptional. The staff are so incredibly compassionate and made me feel comfortable and safe. I will not be going anywhere else for anything medical that comes up in the future. I have a lot of medical anxiety and I've never had so much trust in medical professionals before.
Elana G. Davidson PA-C, the physician assistant who worked here last year, set up the initial program, and who did my intake, is the reason I did not do this program and went to one that offers all the tools available for weight loss (including medications) vs. just surgery. Elana told me, “Why would we give you meds to lose weight? Then you won't learn how to eat?” She had no education on eating disorders.
