My dad had eye surgery here. The staff was awesome, very informative, and helpful.
I had a great experience at Holy Cross Hospital. The nurses in the back were incredibly kind, attentive, and reassuring. Dr. Mechor and his anesthesiologist were excellent — they explained everything clearly and took wonderful care of me. I’m very grateful for the care I received.
Massive shout-out to the kind, caring (and lowkey heroic) male anesthesiologist wearing black scrubs who was working with my ophthalmologist, Dr. Michael Ashenhurst, during my ptosis surgery between 10 :30 -11:30 AM on July 8th, 2025. Horrible staff, very rude and unprofessional. They tell you to be here 30 minutes early but then you sit and wait 2 hours longer. I was waiting for my boyfriends surgery, and needed to charge my phone, none of the outlets work.. finally found one in a hallway with no chairs so I sat there quietly watching my show with my headphones in. Security came up and asked if I was okay, I replied with yes, just charging my phone. I had a great experience. My surgery was delayed due to something unexpected and out of the clinic's control. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They allowed me to use the landline to call my family about the delay. Post-op went by quickly, and I was checked on constantly, but my rest wasn't interrupted. Since the surgery, I have received two follow-up calls from the nurse. That was a bit unusual, but I appreciate the care and concern.
