I had an extremely unpleasant experience with a staff member named Shirley. I called to make an appointment for an EKG my doctor prescribed. Shirley repeatedly pressed me to explain why I needed it. I mentioned I was at work and unable to go into granular detail over the phone, but she was unwilling to accept that and continued pushing for more information. After switching my health insurance to Ambetter, I discovered that nearly all local doctors are tied to Holy Cross. The customer service is appalling: the phone attendants are hostile, ghetto and not very helpful. My appointment with cardiologist Dr. Vicente Font was equally disastrous.
