So far I myself ain't feeling very good of this place, can't get no information about your child, they apparently can't afford to pay for anyone to answer a damn phone. What's the deal , weird people!!!
I was a kid here at Holston, met great people, but my foster care agency told me at most a month staying here. Ended up staying from early 2022 to about late 2025. Not the worst place to be, but can improve based on personal experience and other reviews. The independent living program is phenomenal, and I still talk to the leader of that program. went there for a lil but , good people but very bad part of my life
If I could give -0 was here in 2020 due to dhs It was borderline cult behavior with the school in this place a staff member quite literally put their knee on my neck etc. I was here for 2 days maybe 3 and I have trauma etc this place traumatized me those 2 days had to go to short term care and never came back . Very controlling. The school teachers are creepy. They have a whole pantry of food but they make someone come to make dinner doors lock from the outside so if someone shut the bathroom they couldn't open it which is d... read more
Been here for 3 years, sure there will be times staff are harsh, but at the end of the day they treat us kids with respect, from 5k vacation trips, yacht rides, christmas, other things like football games, we have our own basketball league, its honestly good. Sure personal things and being away from home has an impact but on the outside its tbe best facility I could really ask for
