I've been going to Holod's since I was a child. Solid hardware store, fairly large. They really shine with their Garden Center though... The plant selection in the Spring is ridiculous. Also a ton of outdoor trees / bushes etc. for landscaping. If you're looking at stuff to plant for your garden, look no further. Way better than big box places. Super awkward experience with a rude cashier. They also priced bags of salt for ice over 3x higher than Lowe’s, several weeks after a bad snow/ice storm. It’s such a shame, because I’d rather support a local business, but I won’t be coming back.
Take your repairs somewhere else.
I go here often for tool rentals. These guys are knowledgeable, organized and they're on point. They know their stuff, and they they always seem to have what I need. The hardware store... I'm not in there as often. I mean, it's a hardware store. You're not gonna get everything you need like at a Lowe's or lumber supply, but it is well maintained.
