At Holmestead Farm you can go into our fields and vineyards and pick your own organic-fertilized and pesticide-free berries and fruit or buy it "ready-to-go" at our fruit shed. In season, we offer the finest tasting blackberries, blueberries and grapes in this part of Alabama. And we have muscadines, scuppernongs and lots of different fruit tress ... all pesticide free. Plus, we're always expanding our vegetable offerings.

Went strawberry picking with my 3 boys 4,2, 1 mo. Great experience! Great farm. 12$ for a gallon of non certified organic strawberries. They do blueberry orange apple and other fruit pickings too. Beautiful set up, pond picnic tables green houses bee hives. They sell their own raw honey and jams and jellies made from farm, they also sell fruit trees and bushes. Long drive for us (downtown bham) but worth it. Will be going back for different picking seasons.
Absolutely AMAZING experience picking satsumas and eating wonderful zucchini bread, pumpkin bread and so many fantastic jams made by talented Brandy! We came home with multiple varieties of apples, fresh honey and sweet potatoes too! Buddy and everyone at Holmestead (including our new canine friend Zoe) make you feel right at home! It could not be a more wonderful place!
