Had an amazing experience. Was seen to and treated fast. All the staff and nurses were incredible and attentive. Sally the triage nurse was amazing very kind and caring, as were Jo and Jem.

0 stars. Went in today with my 9 year old daughter with suspected ankle fracture. Did paperwork upon arrival. We have private health and there was no mention of $450 fee until after an hour of waiting. After being told for over 2 hours we were next we decided to leave. Staff were completely rude and unwelcoming. Went to Sandringham and staff were super caring and accomodating. WORST HOSPITAL IVE EVER BEEN TO. AVOID.

Do not come to this ED if you have a serious acute issue or have chronic complex conditions. you are better off to wait at a public hospital.

Huge thank you for taking care of me and my foot. Attended Holmesglen Emergency after months of inadequate care and diagnostics from my GP. Was seen within minutes, had surgery the same day, in the evening. Finally, correctly diagnosed. The staff is very professional, supportive, welcoming, strict with procedures and attentive to detail. Doctors are caring and thoughtful. The team at Holmesglen has literally saved my foot!!! Wow. I just waited over 2.5 hours, watching countless others go before me that arrived after me until it got to the point where leaving seemed better for my health. Incredibly dissapointed that this is the state of 'Emergency Room' for a payment of $450. If it's an emergency, people need to be seen.
