We have been staying at Holmes with a view since around 2005. Very nice place, comfortable beds. Great amenities, very close to Berlin. Our recent visit in mid July 2025 was great!! Self check in feature is nice. The only down side was we had to book 2 nights and had to clean the room strip the beds run the dishwasher and gather up all the trash. Otherwise, we would be billed extra on our credit card

Very nice place. All amenities were covered; the cinnamon rolls and bread was a wonderful gesture. Loved the fireplace and nice hot shower. Wifi was spotty, but didn't bother us. The only negative for us personally was the drive into town. There are some seriously scary roads and getting into town was a chore. We will not stay again due to this but it is a wonderful place and a very relaxing stay

We have stayed at Holmes With a View a number of times over the years and have never been dissapointed with the location. It's a very peaceful place overlooking hilly pastures. We stayed 3 days in the #5 suite. The couch has a recliner on both ends. However, one recliner doesn't work, and the other recliner, while it does come up, is difficult to lock back down.
