Wonderful swimming hole on a clear, spring fed stream. $5 / person. Slide, rope swing, picnic tables and a small boat ramp. Excellent.

My husband and I travelled from Dallas, Texas to north of Bonifay to visit family. I looked up a place for us to go canoeing. I chose this place based on the reviews. They were not wrong. Family owned and operated and the best money we spent on the trip. I called and got a 2 person canoe and she told me exactly what I needed for the trip. We brought a cooler full of food and water, bug spray and sun screen. Two of the most polite young gentlemen drove us to the drop off point and gave us fantastic directions. This place was absolutely breath taking. The only complaint I have is that after spending the day at the spring. The kayak trip back to Holmes creek felt very long. But it was a great thing that me and my bf decided to do. We also were not prepared on what to bring. This place was definitely more of a local hangout. But in the future we will bring out cooler with drinks, sandwiches, & etc. We will be back next year! If you are staying in Destin then it is only an hour away, it’s definitely worth the trip.
