The online triage form is very useful and the doctors are always quick to respond to the form and often call or text with their recommendations which saves us a trip! :-)
A recent run of bad luck health wise has resulted in me having to seek help from the surgery on a few occasions. I have been very happy with prompt responses to on line triage and subsequent appointments and treatment. Latest yesterday when Dr Tate provided immediate treatment and referral and the pharmacy staff for processing pain relief so quickly.
New patient and within a week of being accepted my partner was offered a diabetic check up .partner got told to bring a urine sample in anytime of day and when he did was told by receptionist that she couldn't accept it and then promptly took someone elses ! Partner was told he would be having a call from nurse this morning and so far he's still waiting.Myself a diabetic - not been offered the same service. Doing their best but stretched. My experiences with the Health Centre have been largely positive. The Pharmacy staff and my doctor are great. I have had problems booking appointments, especially on a Monday, when triage appointments can get overbooked. New housing has seen the population of HC expand over recent years. My impression is that, the resources of the Health Centre are under strain as a result.
